ACC Welcomes Five Cantorial Colleagues into Membership

Schaumburg, IL. The American Conference of Cantors (ACC) is pleased to announce the admission of five new cantorial colleagues to ACC membership.

Rabbi-Cantor Shani Ben-Or, the first female to be ordained as rabbi and cantor from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion Jerusalem campus, was voted unanimously as a Regular Member in the organization by the ACC Executive Board.

Cantor Abby Gostein, Cantor Lisa B. Segal, Cantor Norman Cohen-Falah, and Cantor Risa Wallach were all voted unanimously into Associate Membership after completing the ACC membership admission process. The ACC looks forward to welcoming these colleagues in person at the 2022 Chicago Convention.
