ACC E-note #144: ACC Listserv Announcement

We hope this finds you well, busy for sure, preparing for Pesach.

As you may be aware, Shamash, the moderator of our Listserv, informed us last June that they would be ceasing all Listserv activity in the near future, without a clear end date. Recently, they gave us a definitive end date of June 1, 2014. In anticipation of this, we will be closing our ACC Listserv on May 15, 2014.

Over the past number of months many of our members have joined The Tent and participated in conversations and discussions. We continue to seek feedback from users of The Tent which will be passed along to the moderator of The Tent. As our Listserv comes to an end, we strongly encourage and support all of our members to join The Tent. We will continue to monitor and assess its usage and our members' experience. We are committed to providing a safe and sacred space for all ACC members to dialogue and share resources.

If you want to access The Tent, please follow these simple instructions:

Go to thetent.urj.net
If you know your user name and password, please click the "Sign in To The Tent" link in the upper left hand corner of your screen.
In most cases, your user name will be first initial last name@ urj.net. For example, Rachel Roth's user name is rroth@urj.net. This is not an email address, just a log in. If you need a password reminder, just click on the "I forgot my User Name" link.
If you have forgotten your password, click on the "I forgot my Password" link.

Once you are in The Tent, click on the SITES link in the bar at the top of the screen, and then from the SITES page click on the Community Directory tile near the top of the page. Select the ACC site from the list of Tent sites, and on the ACC home page, click the "Join This Community" button." You are also welcome to click here to go to the ACC website where you will find more information on setting up your profile, setting alerts, and joining communities.

Over the next few weeks we will be offering additional Tent training webinars. See the links below to register. Additionally, Seth Warner, our Listserv moderator, has offered one on one help to any member who reaches out to him over the course of the next four weeks. Rachel Roth and our administrative support team are also available for any questions you may have.
