URJ Restorative Justice Initiative, the Very Narrow Bridge Project

We invite the entire community to a panel discussion where survivors and URJ leaders will share their experiences as part of our restorative justice initiative, the Very Narrow Bridge Project.

 Working with renowned restorative justice experts Dr. Guila Benchimol and Dr. Alissa Ackerman over the last 17 months, victims and survivors of abuse and misconduct in URJ and Reform movement spaces have helped URJ leaders engage in serious restorative processes. In this session, panel participants will share their activities, what they have learned, the outcomes of the URJ's Ethics Accountability work thus far, and their hopes for the future.
