One month ago, Hamas unleashed its unprovoked and devastating attack on Israel. Our hearts are broken and are souls are pained for the families of those killed. Every day we become more distressed for the more than 240 people, including babies, women, and the elderly, who continue to be held as hostages by Hamas.
The attack on Israel has manifested into a real and terrifying threat to Jewish communities across the world. As acts of antisemitism surge in our communities, and in our schools and college campuses, it is more important than ever to come together in solidarity and action.
The march will be a meaningful opportunity for us to gather with our greater Reform community to raise our collective voice in support of our communities in Israel and to demand the immediate release of all hostages in Gaza. By bringing thousands of people together from across the nation, we can stand united against antisemitism and all forms of hate.
Please register now to commit to attend the rally with the Reform movement. Once you register, you will receive additional information including event logistics and a pre-event meetup location. Send any questions to pressinquiry@urj.org.
We hope you will join us at this historic event as we act together as an American Jewish community to support Israel and stand strong against antisemitism.
