SEG: Senior Engagement Group

The Torah teaches that our forebears' earliest names were insufficient to empower them in their new mission.

We have changed our name from  ותיקים to SEG, the Senior Engagement Group.
Our new name represents a “seg”ue from an honorific designation to one that connotes a step into the future.

Mission Statement of the Senior Engagement Group (SEG)

"Our purpose is to provide support and advocacy for, and to foster camaraderie among, retired and soon-to-be retired cantors. SEG provides opportunities for discussion of the workaday problems and utilitarian needs of its members. SEG enables its members to continue their efforts to advocate for Judaism and Jewish music; to provide opportunities for continuing Torah study and to support the ACC in its goals.”
