Andrea Storz was involved in the music industry for 7 years, writing marketing pieces, booking concerts and coordinating trade shows for one of the largest music associations in the country. Shortly thereafter, she developed and continues to operate a successful and comprehensive employment coaching business. She joined The ARK, a well-known Chicago social service agency, almost 16 years ago as the Director of Employment Services. Integrating her English, Theatre and Psychology background, she provides comprehensive and intensive employment assistance to a wide spectrum of clients, from high school graduates to PhD's. As a public speaker, she conducts quarterly clinics on behalf of The ARK and Jewish Business 2 Business (JB2B), and has been a guest speaker for the JELI program (Jewish Education Leadership Institute) for several years. Andrea has been a contributing writer for JBN (Jewish Business News), Midwest Career College, and a West Rogers Park Neighborhood quarterly newsletter. She grew up in West Rogers Park and after 20 years of living in Lincoln Park, currently resides in Skokie, Illinois. She is happily married to Jim, with 3 daughters and 2 dogs.
Jonathan Roth joins the ACC as part of our professional development team, The Right Derech. With several years of non-profit employment counseling experience as well as over 20 years of experience as an educator of both adults and children, Jonathan is excited to work with the professional development committee to revamp and revitalize the educational offerings of the ACC.
After his decorated service in the US Navy during the First Gulf War, Jonathan received his degree in Education from Florida State University. He spent time teaching inner-city youth English and social studies in Jacksonville, Florida, before utilizing his teaching skills in corporate settings as a corporate trainer for several organizations.
Shortly after moving back to the Chicago area in 2007, he began working in the Jewish Non-Profit world an employment counselor, first for JVS Chicago and then The ARK, a well-known Chicago social services agency. Jonathan has been a contributing writer for several Chicago area publications including the Midwest Career College’s weekly newsletter.
Jonathan’s love of baseball rivals any good Cubs’ fan, and he and his wife, Rachel, attend as many games as possible during the season. When not attending baseball games as a fan, he umpires High School and Little League baseball games around the community. Jonathan and Rachel live in suburban Chicago with their Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Chance.
