Abigail Pickus is a writer, editor and communications professional. With a background as a print journalist, her credits include writing for for eJewish Philanthropy, the Times of Israel, and the Jewish Week, where she was a regular columnist. Her articles have also appeared in the Chicago Tribune and many other publications. Previous roles include running the Chicago office of the Nextbook Jewish literary series and working for the Jewish Agency and ROI in Jerusalem. She has bachelor's of arts degrees from Barnard College and the Jewish Theological Seminary, as well as a certificate in marketing strategy from eCornell. She lives in the Chicago area with her young son.
