Dana has worked for the American Conference of Cantors on two separate occasions. From 2006 to 2008 she was part of the reorganization of the ACC and since 2013, has been directly responsible for the administration of the ACC Retirement Plan and group insurance benefits. Her involvement before, during and after the reorganization has provided her with an in-depth knowledge of ACC business operations and a unique perspective. She is grateful to work for a group of such accomplished and caring professionals, and finds supporting those who serve to be personally rewarding.
Dana's work history is varied. Earlier in her career she spent ten years in software design and development in Chicago, followed by six years in systems analysis and consulting for a small 50+ employee public accounting firm. She was self-employed for several years working for a variety of clients, and as a co-author of a 300+ page Time Billing software user's guide, eventually became a small business expert specializing in companies who bill for their time.
Dana holds B.A. degrees in Business and Psychology from Lake Forest College. She grew up in the Chicago suburbs and has happily remained in the Chicagoland area throughout her life close to family and longtime friends.
